Return to Sender:Send the Devil's Junk Back To Him

I have discovered, after being saved for over twenty years, that all the junk that tries to enter my life is sent to me from the devil and no one but the devil. Junk meaning, health problems, family problems, financial problems, etc.

And I have discovered, however odd it may seem, that the mind is NOT unlike a mailbox. A mailbox receives letters and packages and the mind receives messages. The similarity here is simple. The postman fills our mail box with junk mail, anywhere from get rich quick schemes to applications from credit card companies just waiting for people to fall into their clutches of high credit card debt. The devil, on the other hand, tries to deliver to our mind negative thoughts of despair, such as gloom and doom and often depression and sickness. I refer to all this as satan's junk mail.

I have also discovered that when the devil sends me this junk, I don't have to receive it since it is NOT mine, I can, without hesitation, return to sender, just as if it was mistakenly delivered to me by the U.S. Postal Service.

Return it:

Have you ever opened your mailbox to find a package the postman left you there by mistake? What did you do? You more then likely ran the postman down and returned it to him because it didn't belong to you. Or else, you waited until the next day and gave it back to him.

Have you ever ordered something only to find when you opened it that it wasn't what you ordered at all? What did you do? You returned it because it wasn't what you ordered.

Children of God, we can return things to the devil because we didn't order them. We don't have to claim his junk just because he sent it. When the devil sends us a health problem or an emotional upset, we don't have to receive them!

As Christians we don't have to receive everything coming and going from satan or from his demons. We can return to sender!

For Example:

Lets say for example the devil shows up on your doorstep and tries to hand you a package with a note on it that says, whoever accepts this package will become very ill with an incurable illness. You wouldn't accept that package would you? I don't know anyone who would.

And, what if the devil put a letter in your mailbox that had written on it in bold letters, whoever opens this letter will become sick and depressed. You wouldn't open that letter. No one would?

When the devil sends a thought to our mind that disturbs us or a message to our body that indicates we are sick we don't have to receive it. We can reject it and send it back to the devil!

Do You Have Fear in Your Life?

The Word says in I Timothy 1:7 says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

If you are experiencing fear right now in your life, God didn't send it to you. If God didn't send it, you don't have to receive it. Tell the devil he has the wrong address.

Are you depressed?

If you are depressed God didn't send that to you either and just like the fear you can return it to the devil from which it came. The devil is a liar and a devourer. Why should we believe anything he says or accept anything he sends? Its simple, we shouldn't! In the name of Jesus speak to the depression in your life. Say this, depression, I bind you and cast you out! I not only cast you out of my life but I cast you down and tread upon you in the name of Jesus!

Conclusion:

When the devil comes around trying to deliver his package of trouble we can resist him. We can tell him to leave in the name of Jesus because we have authority over the devil through and by that great name "JESUS."

Read these scriptures for help:

James 4:7. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Submit yourself to God first and then resist the devil. It won't work the other way around. You can't resist the devil then submit yourself to God. It just doesn't work that way.

When you resist the devil it may seem like he isn't going to leave. But he will leave because the more you use the name of Jesus the weaker he becomes.  Every time you feel his pressure coming against you, press right back and keep moving on for Jesus! A moving target is harder to hit!

I Peter 8&9. Be sober; be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom, resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Always be prayed up and watching. Don't be caught off guard. The devil is always out and about, so keep your eyes open and your spirit tuned into what is going on around you! Use discernment in your life.

REMEMBER THIS:

When the devil sends you his junk mail, send it right back to him. Return to Sender!

A Word of Prayer:

I pray Father, in the name of Jesus, that all those that take time to read this article will know that, you Lord, are a good God and you don't send anything bad to your Children! I pray Father, that when the devil does send trouble, they will send it right back to him.
